Privacy policy

This policy describes how MonkeyBach handles your data. We keep it minimal: we only store what is needed to run the app and show your progress.

Data we collect and store

When you sign in with a username we create an account and store: username, practice sessions (scores, levels, duration), accuracy events (for weak-spot and drill features), scale personal bests, and preferences (e.g. game mode, BPM, profile visibility). We do not collect your email or real name unless you put them in your username.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. It contains a signed identifier tied to your account. It is HTTP-only and not used for tracking. Clearing the cookie logs you out.

Retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from the users page; that removes your user record and associated data (sessions, events, preferences) from our systems.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. Data is stored on the infrastructure that serves the app (e.g. the host where you use it). If you make your profile public, your username and stats can be viewed by anyone with the link.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
